By winning the Western Baseball Association League the Southern California Outlaws collegiate baseball team has qualified for the NBS World Series in Wichita, KS.
The National Baseball Congress World Series, held at Wichita’s Lawrence-Dumont Stadium annually since 1935 is the top collegiate event of the summer.
This event begins July 25, 2014 – July 31, 2014 with a double elimination tournament format.
Nick is from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, CA and spent 3yrs playing for the Outlaws Program prior to attending San Luis Obispo where he continued his success as an everyday outfielder while hitting in the middle of the lineup.

The Southern California Outlaws would like to congratulate the Megill family on their son being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 3rd round (104 overall) of the MLB 2014 Draft.
Trevor and his brother Tylor spent last summer with So Cal Outlaws 18u team. Trevor spent the summer as the pitching coach while recovering from his Tommy John surgery, and was a valuable asset for the So Cal Outlaws. Tylor who was a big part of our success over the last 3 summers on the hill, and helped pitch the Spring League team to a Championship season. We wish them both continued success in their future endeavors!
The Southern California Outlaws Baseball Club will be fielding a competitive team for the 2014 Spring Season.This will be our 4th season of participation in the Spring Baseball League having won the Championship 2 years ago and finishing runner up last year. We once again are looking for players that have a desire to compete at a high level who still have High School eligibility, or this Spring have chosen to redshirt.
The league is scheduled to begin play March 1st with games being played Saturdays and Sundays. Most of the games are scheduled as doubleheaders. The 2013 Firecracker Classic is just around the corner. The Southern California Outlaws will have their Connie Mack team participating in the 18U division starting Friday June 28 with the Championship being played on July 4th. The Mickey Mantle team will be playing in the 16U division starting Saturday June 29 with the Championship game being played July 5th.
We are still looking for some quality players to fill out the 16U team so please contact us if you are interested in participating in the biggest summer tournament in Southern California. Our program has been involved with many leagues Mike started in and around Southern California and we will miss him dearly. His enthusiasm for the game will be greatly missed!

This will mark the 3rd year that the So Cal Outlaws have participated in the league. The team is made up of many college redshirt freshman as well as some selected high school players. Games are played on weekends in and around the local Southern California area.
